"Fromage"- the lyric video about cheese. 

Apparently the only thing we learned how to say whilst on tour in France was "I would like a cheese sandwich please".

I wrote this song about watching a friend go through some personal issues. 

I decided I never wanted to write a song this complex again.

The chords are strange towards the end of each verse, and it takes a few minutes to teach someone how to play it. 

I prefer to write songs now that are easy for anyone to play along with.

A Cowboy version of "In A Gadda Da Vida"   is what I think of when I first heard the Debut album from cowboy musicians Baxter Elkins. Melissa Gail Klein drops powerful new record "Crystalline Charm" There is SO much good stuff to say about this album, and this artist Melissa Gail Klein  The first track "Did I Wish" lets us get to know a little bit about the range of Melissa's earthy voice.   Track 2, "Riverside" is a track about coming together, and I imagine riding down highway 1 (the beach) blasting this track.  Next up is called "The Same" and we get to hear Melissa play the banjo with great ability. The textural soundscape is rife with ear-candy.   The production on this album is impeccable.  "Just put on your make-up and fall back in line..." is one of the many lines in this track that expresses the drone of social hypnosis.   Notice the amazing guitar solo at the end, intertwining with psychedelic violin.  Track 4, "Lapis" is a perfect interlude with wooden flute and evocative instrumetns.
