Track 2, "Riverside" is a track about coming together, and I imagine riding down highway 1 (the beach) blasting this track. Next up is called "The Same" and we get to hear Melissa play the banjo with great ability. The textural soundscape is rife with ear-candy. The production on this album is impeccable. "Just put on your make-up and fall back in line..." is one of the many lines in this track that expresses the drone of social hypnosis. Notice the amazing guitar solo at the end, intertwining with psychedelic violin. Track 4, "Lapis" is a perfect interlude with wooden flute and evocative instrumetns.
